Tyvek® Pouches

Tyvek® offers a unique combination of strength, porosity, bacterial barrier, moisture repellency, purity and printability that makes it an outstanding packaging material for health-care packaging. Tyvek® can be sterilized by EtO, radiation, steam or dry-heat.

TOLAS Healthcare Packaging offers uncoated and coated 1073B and 1059B Tyvek® and Tyvek® 2FS™ for use in medical device and pharmaceutical pouches.

Uncoated Tyvek® Pouches

Uncoated Tyvek® sealed to TPF-0501A (48ga. Pet/2 mil LDPe) pouches from TOLAS form a flexible, cost-effective pouch known as the industry standard for high performance packaging. These pouches are EtO and radiation sterilizable.

Coated Tyvek® Pouches

Variations on TOLAS' SealScience® proprietary heat-seal coatings offer increased seal strength and wider seal ranges. These pouch materials fluoresce under UV light for coating continuity examination. When heat-seal coated Tyvek® is sealed to TPF-0501A film, the resulting pouches are EtO and radiation sterilizable.

Steam Sterilizable Tyvek® Pouches

Uncoated Tyvek® sealed to TPF-0563A steam sterilizable film is a high performance alternative to conventional autoclavable packaging. These pouches from TOLAS are ideal for use when flexible packaging is specified and product sensitivity rules out radiation or EtO sterilization methods.

ISOTECH BAG®

Uncoated Tyvek® sealed to a select HDPe film form the ISOTECH BAG ®. The ISOTECH BAG ® from TOLAS is a high performance bag that allows manufacturers to sterilize, ship and supply large quantities of parenteral packaging components, such as stoppers and vials, in one flexible, high strength bag.

Pouches On A Roll

TOLAS Healthcare Packaging has developed a process capability for supplying uncoated Tyvek®/TPF-0501A pouches in continuous roll form. Available in three grades of Tyvek®, TOLAS' Pouches On A Roll offer medical device and pharmaceuticals manufacturers a wide variety of features and benefits.
