Steam Sterilizable Tyvek® Pouches

TPF-0563A/1073B Tyvek® pouches are a high performance alternative to conventional autoclavable packaging. They are extremely tear and puncture resistant, retaining strength and integrity throughout the sterilization process. TPF-0563A offers a clean, fiber-free peel from Tyvek® after sterilization, with virtually no particulate.

TPF-0563A autoclavable film is a polyester-based lamination that is heat sealable to 1073B Tyvek®. This combination yields a high quality peelable pouch that can be sealed within a range of process conditions. It is flexible packaging that is autoclavable by OEMs or in-hospital under controlled conditions (typical range 250 to 260°F); suitable for the processing and protection of dressings, instruments, implants parenterals and other products requiring steam sterilization.

The polyester outer layer prevents the film from sticking to the heat sealing platen. TPF-0563A also offers excellent product visibility due to its high clarity. TPF-0563A/1073B Tyvek® pouches are printable with autoclavable water-based inks to feature your logo, barcode or multi-language copy. If desired, sterilization indicator inks are also available. Steam sterilizable Tyvek® pouches from TOLAS are ideal for use when flexible packaging is specified and product sensitivity rules out radiation or EtO sterilization.
