Film Lidding

Foil laminations offer excellent protection for UV/visible light and oxygen sensitive products. The superior moisture barrier of foil prolongs product shelf life by protecting both wet and dry products from moisture vapor transmission through the package. Foils can be laminations of foil and film or paper, film, and foil. Paper offers a smooth printable surface, while foil offers a shiny surface that can be white or aluminum in color. Steam Sterilizable Foil Lidding TPC-0772: heat-seal coated polyester lamination provides excellent barrier resistance for roll-fed flexible lidding applications. MVTR is 0 g/100 si./24 hr. Heat-Seal Coated Radiation Sterilizable Foil Lidding TPC-0810: heat-seal coated paper surfaced foil lamination provides pinhole freeness and an MVTR of <0.000062 g/100 si./24 hr. Paper provides smooth printing surface. TPC-0814B: heat-seal coated puncture resistant barrier lidding provided as roll-fed lidstock offers an MVTR of 0 g/100 si./24 hr. TPC-0815: heat-seal coated paper surfaced foil lamination offers an MVTR of 0 g/100 si./24 hr. Paper provides smooth printing surface.
